In the East we are focusing on spiritual gifts this quarter. The idea is to identify our spiritual gifts and put them to work in the body and in outreach. We are bound to enjoy our Christianity so much more if we are using what God has given us and the passions that he has wired into us to build the church.
We kicked the quarter off with a fantastic teaching weekend. We invited Glenn Giles over to teach us and spend some time with our gifts team. Glenn delivered some outstanding lessons and was very impressed with the way Obi and his team set up the programme.
Do you want to find out your spiritual gift? Well, here's a great survey that will help you discover your gift(s). It's not as exhaustive as the programme we are running but it will give you an idea. Probably the best way to do it is for you to do it and have someone who knows you well complete it on your behalf and compare the difference.

For the record I scored 100% administration, 89% teacher, 67% wisdom. I must say that I am disappointed at only being 67% wise but happy that I total 256%. Does that make me super human? Alas, probably not. I most likely need a more sober estimate of myself.
