This is the lesson I did from the book of Jonah at the 2012 Youth & Family conference. It was addressed to our teen, preteen and children's ministry leaders.

Thanks for an amazing 16 years

Love

BL

Here's a website that I steal a lot of games ideas from. You will find the games sorted by various categories and good descriptions about how to run the games and the equipment needed.

ok, so this is a little off topic but it's a useful resource for getting micro jobs done cheap. Typical price is $5 offering services from video creation, photography, writing copy, social media marketing to the bizarre and unusual. www.fiverr.com

Here's a link to a lesson about addressing the heart in all of our teaching. It's from a youth & children's ministry conference in the evangelical world. It calls us to go beyond managing behaviour into discipling the heart and whilst it understates the sense of mission that we are called to, uses some religious and secular language that makes it perhaps a little dry compared to our usual diet. It is worth persevering with, as it does give some food for thought when it comes to dealing with the hearts of the young people we disciple and lead.

Caroline Bateman (Preteen leader, children's ministry coordinator in the Riverside) gave me this link to a talk from an evangelical conference about youth social events. I listened to it this morning, there are some great ideas in there some of which I will steal and the speaker puts it in a healthy Biblical context that we are creating community not just a social event. Very much worth a listen. Click this link

Kids in mind
This is a great site for film reviews. It details the content in a way which will help you make a decision about whether it is appropriate for you to allow your child to see it.

British board of film classification
This is the parents page of the British board of film classification. Not as detailed as Kids in Mind but a useful resource nonetheless.

Max 7

E-Bible teacher

TEEN BIBLE TALKS USING MOVIE CLIPS
Here's a really useful resource for teen Bible Talks using clips from popular movies. I have found that some of the ideas are good but need sharpening for greater impact, so I recomend that you think and pray about the needs of your group and modify the lesson ideas to meet that need. Here's the link
