We require a number of leaders and support staff to assist with teen camp this Summer. The camp is divided into two camps as follows:

16 years and above 
Leaders day and set up Thursday 18th August
camp runs from Friday 19th August - Tuesday 23rd August

13 - 15 years
Leaders day and set up Tuesday 23rd August
camp runs from Wednesday 24th August - Saturday 28th August

Limited transport will be available from Central London for both camps, although the main leaders for teen camp will be expected to be at camp for a few hours before the teens arrive.

We are looking primarily for people with experience of working with teenagers / youth either in a professional capacity or as a volunteer in the church or outside the church (e.g. Scouts). All volunteers must be a member of ICC Missions or an affiliated congregation.

GROUP LEADERS / GROUP ASSISTANTS

The role demands a lot of energy, enthusiasm, patience and spiritual maturity. You will need to be able to assert authority in an appropriate manner at appropriate times balanced with the ability to engage and listen to the teens that you work with.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead a small group through teen camp offering counsel, direction, friendship, support and encouragement whilst at the same time ensuring that safety and security guidelines are followed and the camp code of conduct is observed.

This is a very demanding role, your energy will be spent by the end of the camp but it is extremely rewarding and has the potential of having an eternal spiritual impact on both yourself and those you work with.

SUPPORT STAFF / KITCHEN / FIELD SUPPORT

The kitchen & support staff work hard at teen camp and usually involves early mornings and late nights. It's a physically demanding role but an enjoyable experience as part of a hard working team. You will need to be flexible and work well as part of a team responding to needs as appropriate.
